Production of 2017 Nissan Micra’s has started in Europe this week. It is after seven years that the Micra’s production returns to the old continent, shifting out from Chennai, India.

The 2017 Nissan Micra is manufactured in Flins, France at Alliance partner Renault’s plant. The fifth generation Micra is the first Nissan to be built at a Renault plant in Europe and the same facility also produces the Renault Clio and Renault Zoe.

The new generation Nissan Micra measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,742 mm in width, 1,452 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,525 mm, making it longer, wider and lower than ever before. The Visia grade comes with features like LED daytime running lights, electric door mirrors, rear spoiler, two-tone dashboard, Hill Start Assist, Intelligent Emergency Braking.
